About Sahitya Posimreddy, MD
Dr. Posimreddy is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, with additional certifications in cardiovascular tomography, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology and as a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI). Her clinical interests include adult congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, valvular disease, heart failure, rhythm disorders, and women and heart disease. Dr. Posimreddy received her MD from MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences/Gandhi Medical College, in Hyderabad, India. She did an internal medicine residency at Saint Michael’s Medical Center (New York Medical College), in Newark, and a cardiology fellowship at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, in Paterson. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. In addition to English, Dr. Posimreddy is fluent in Hindi and Telugu.
