J. Thomas Chon, MD

Dr. Chon is board certified in endocrinology and metabolism. His clinical interests include diabetes mellitus; thyroid disease, including thyroid cancer; parathyroid, pituitary, and adrenal disorders; and osteoporosis. Dr. Chon received his MD from Stony Brook University School of Medicine (State University of New York). He did an internal medicine residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, followed by an endocrinology and metabolism fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital–Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in Manhattan. He is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Thyroid Association, the Academy of Clinical Thyroidologists, and the Endocrine Society. In addition to English, Dr. Chon is fluent in Korean.
