About Grant R. Simons, MD

Dr. Simons is chief of heart rhythm services at Englewood Hospital and an assistant clinical professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of heart rhythm disorders and conditions through the use of catheterization, cryoablation, and implantable devices. He has particular interest in atrial fibrillation, catheter ablation, cardiac resynchronization therapy, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and pacemakers, Dr. Simons received his MD from Duke University School of Medicine. He did his residency in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School-Brigham and Women's Hospital and a fellowship in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at Duke University Medical Center. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications, and he has lectured widely on cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Simons is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the Heart Rhythm Society.
